The inaugural Farming YEG Fashion was a first-of-its-kind experience, seamlessly blending networking, insightful industry panels, and a highly anticipated style award. Held on September 19 at the historic Pendennis Building, the event brought together Edmonton’s fashion and creative communities for a night of connection, knowledge-sharing, and celebration.

In partnership with Jam the Social App, we introduced an immersive digital networking experience, setting the stage for four dynamic panel discussions that tackled key aspects of fashion entrepreneurship:

  1. Creative Financing and Support in Fashion & Creative Business (Panelist names: Janice Baskin and Erin McDonald)
  2. The Role of Creative Community in Building A Successful Fashion Brand (Panelist names: Suvi Sharma, Liam O’Gilvie, Camille Maclean,
  3. Navigating Collaborative Opportunities in Fashion & Creative Business (Panelist names: Whitney Onwubuya, Raeland Mendoza, Rehana Malik-Mbanga
  4. The Role of Technology and Media in Fashion Business (Panelist names: Kristy Jacobs, Melvin Adekanye, Damilare Henry Bakare, Greg Davis)

The night culminated in an electrifying style showcase, leaving attendees buzzing with excitement. Three standout guests took home top prizes, capping off an unforgettable evening that set the tone for future editions of Farming YEG Fashion.
